another summer has come and gone :( we spent the weekend at my in-laws lake house with friends and family. labor day weekend is always bitter sweet. fall has officially started for me but here's a last look at some of my favorites from the weekend.
our youngest of four boys turned five this past april and we decided to celebrate with a big bash. as the youngest, i don't think we have had an official party besides running to the grocery, grabbing a quick cake and documenting it with a few pictures so we would remember that yeah, we celebrated all your birthdays. i'm in the middle of the wedding season, moving and selling homes, and heading to my 20 year high school re-union next week. this weekend we are spending it at the lake with the family and it's been a nice break. i decided to grab the birthday pictures and edit a few for me. i really never edit my own pictures. once in a while i will grab a few and blog them but most sit in folders, RAW out of camera in a number of external hard drives. i keep telling myself one of these days i will organize and start printing them. someday! for now here are some from nicko and william's 5th birthday. i went all out. we had a cake made for each one, a photobooth, a bouncy tent, cotton candy, popcorn, face painters, ballonman, and the biggest hit, the CANDY BAR! these are huge in the wedding industry right now so i decided to put one together for the boys party and of course we all LOVE candy!
the twins fish made an appearance at the head table
we had flour & child make some yummy rainbow cupcakes for us too
i'm back after the normal craziness of our lives. back in april my twins turned 5! we had this great little party at the house and while i finish editing the pictures, i thought i would throw a few from the photobooth up on the blog! more to come soon ....
still finishing up sara + ryan and some other recent sessions but i wanted to post a little something before the weekend. this picture was taken recently after we did a photoshoot with the dayton daily news. i whipped out some old camera's i grew up with .. my mom had saved them for me. the boys LOOVED them! i still had a little bit of film left for the polaroids. it was funny how fast they went through it ... they are so use to shooting and shooting the digital camera's. i'm excited to spend the mother's day weekend with jp and the boys. hope you all have a good one too!
