I'm finally back to blogging after the longest spell i can remember. we've been shooting weddings every weekend and lifestyle sessions during the week but i squeezed in a move as well.  i cannot believe how much "stuff" i accumulated in 9 years. we got bought a new house with a bigger yard for the boys and it's still walking distance from their school, their friends, the studio, starbucks and yummy graeters!

here's some of what me and the girls have been shooting the past several weeks:

i am so excited to share the news that katie grace albrecht, one of our associate photographers is back full time! she just graduated from Ohio University with a commercial photography degree. she has been working for us for almost 2 years remotely and locally when home from school breaks. she started out as an intern and we quickly fell in love with her! she has an incredible drive and work ethic. she is extremely loyal and dependable. katie has the sweetest personality and her photography is just awesome! what i love the most about katie is that her style is uniquely her own but has the blink feel of mine. we both have a love for colorful, fun, and happy images. she already has a spring shooting schedule full of families, seniors and weddings. i'm so excited to see her be a part of blink full time. who knows where we'll be this time next year, only time will tell! i'm posting a few sessions she recently did but also check out her latest work on her new blink blog here !

we are looking for an intern! we are entering our busy season and looking for some extra help at the blink of an eye studio. we are looking for an intern who can start right away and work through the end of the summer (maybe longer if it goes well). interning is an amazing opportunity to learn what it takes to run a photography studio. this internship is perfect for the developing photographer or anyone interested in learning how a small business operates. while the internship maybe a good fit for a budding photographer, shooting & editing photos will not be the emphasis of the internship. this is an un-paid internship. see below for job description and how to apply. job description: general office help and admin tasks - answering phones, responding to emails, etc. packaging and shipping print and product orders, help us keep the studio clean and organized! mailing thank you notes, cards, handwriting notes, etc. , errands around town, preparing for photo shoots, assisting at shoots which may include evening and weekend shoots, requirements: we are looking for a minimum of 15 hours per week commitment, we are flexible on your daily schedule. our studio hours are 9:30 to 3:30 but you may be asked to assist on evening shoots or on weekends, excellent communication and people skills, attention to detail and good organizational skills, computer knowledge and skills including a basic knowledge of photoshop, nice handwriting, knowledge of apple computers and operating system, interest in photography (but you don't have to be a photographer), a self motivated team player who is able to be productive without constant direction and supervision, MOST IMPORTANTLY - A HAPPY, POSITIVE ATTITUDE & ENTHUSIASM !! please email libby@blinkofaneyephotography.com or click hereif you interested
